Warm Woolies has had some great press recently. Here's what people are saying about us:

Warm Woolies is a non-profit organization whose volunteers knit warm clothing for poverty-stricken children who would otherwise suffer from cold. Our mission is to provide the very neediest children with wool sweaters, vests, hats, mittens, and socks.
In 2008, we're knitting for children living in orphanages in Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Mongolia and on the Rosebud and Pine Ridge tribal reservations in South Dakota. Our goal for 2008 is to knit 7,000 pieces of warm wool clothing for these children!
Warm Woolies supplies yarn, patterns, and needles to knitters throughout the Denver area. If you're outside Denver and need wool yarn in order to participate, we ask that you do the following:
We have a new policy for providing yarn to knitters who cannot pick up supplies at our workspace.
We will send wool yarn to knitters who have already sent in at least one finished piece using their own yarn and who do the following:

- We send yarn in Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes.
- You can prepay $10 for all of the wool yarn we can fit into a box measuring 11 7/8 x 3 3/8 x 13 5/8 inches.
OR - You can prepay $13 for all of the wool yarn we can fit into a box measuring 12 x 12 x 5 ½ inches.
